WHY FORZA9

Forza disgha (Maltese for force nine)
is a scientific term used by meteorologists
to describe very strong winds blowing over land.
Force 9 winds reach velocities of  76km (46miles) per hour
and are so strong that they can inflict damage
to buildings, to property and to the environment in general.

In the Acts of the Apostles chapter 2 verses 1 to 4 we read that
when the day of Pentecost had come,
they (the apostles, disciples and Mary) were all together
in one place. Suddenly a sound came from heaven
like the rush of a mighty wind,
and it filled the house where they were sitting.
And there appeared to them tongues as of fire,
distributed and resting on each one of them.
And they were filled with the Holy Spirit.

Wind. Fire. Spirit.
The Awe of God manifested in the forces of nature.
We believe that even today, the Lord still gives His Spirit
to all those who ask Him, especially to youths
who with their joy, their dedication and their love
are ready to be witnesses to Christ and be signs of the Spirit.
